Howlin' for Joy
The Kickstarter money hit our account today! We gotta admit, that happened just in time. Now that we're financially stable there's a lot of exciting stuff on the horizon. We'll be checking out a for-real tractor pretty soon as well as starting the planning phase of our packing shed/processing station. We're finally feeling good about our cache of irrigation supplies and compost and we are definitely looking forward to getting our road leveled out. Oh, and we're getting a sprayer soon - woohoo!
According to Ian, our plants-in-the-ground count is well over 10,000 - can you believe that? We've got greens and more greens, tomatoes, peppers, turnips, radishes, cantaloupe, zucchini and much more. We're definitely looking forward to bringing these to you; some of 'em are really starting to look delicious.
In addition to all the good stuff happening out on the farm proper, we're happy to announce that we can officially call ourselves Howlin' Wolf Farm (thanks to the clerk's office) and that we're Kentucky Proud certified. We've got a snazzy bank account, too.
Our distribution site has finally been secured - so we'll be sending out shareholder agreements right and left. Pick-ups will happen on Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm at the O'Reilly Auto Parts location on Versailles Road. We can't wait to start seeing y'all there in July!
